9th May 2003 Windsurfing: knap barry Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 18mph Surf / Sea State: chop Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: missed a diary entry last sun though i,d put it in ,soa quick update, went newgale with lads got pounded by some big bad waves , we seemed to arrive just as all the locals were coming off water as the tide had turned and the waves where stacking up steep and close . Today though was a different story been work so could,nt get away early so watching the trees blowing all aft, and the mobile phone recieving enought text messages to fill the inbox with "Get down the beach quick" got down beach just after 6 still about 10 guys out ripping , great 2 hr session in the first decent sw winds we have had this way . |
